Official Statement from the ESPRM 2026 Congress Organizing Committee
In light of the current global situation and following extensive consultations, the Organising Committee of the ESPRM 2026 Congress has decided that the European Society for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ESPRM) will assume full responsibility for organising next year’s Congress, which will be held in Kraków, Poland.
This decision has been made to ensure the continuity and integrity of the ESPRM Congress, while also addressing the complex circumstances that have affected participants and partners. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our colleagues from Israel for their dedication and efforts in preparing the event thus far.
As a non-political scientific society, the ESPRM remains committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and productive environment for scientific exchange, collaboration, and learning. We are working closely with all stakeholders to ensure that the Congress upholds the highest standards and welcomes attendees from all backgrounds.
The Congress Organising Committee would like to emphasize that the ESPRM 2026 Congress remains a unique opportunity for our European PRM community to come together, exchange knowledge, and showcase advances in our specialty.
We sincerely thank our colleagues from all National Societies for their dedication and contributions to the preparation of the event to date. We also thank you for your understanding and continued support during this time.
