Founded in 1966, CARF is an international, independent, nonprofit accreditor of human service providers and networks. 

Through accreditation, CARF assists service providers in improving the quality of their services, demonstrating value, and meeting internationally recognized organizational and program standards in the areas of aging services, behavioral health, business and services management networks, continuing care communities, child and youth services, employment and community services, medical rehabilitation, opioid treatment programs, and vision rehabilitation services.
